inspired by...

I'm always inspired  by little girls clothes... not only inspired to buy them {heehee}, but inspired by the cute details, the color combinations, how they can stick so much adorable into these little people clothes.  Lately I've been loving charcoal grey, but I'm not quite to the point where I want to dress miss L in such a grown up color combo.  Here I've put together some combinations that I think are just sweet enough for a 3 year old {I'd wear it myself if I could pull it off}.

1. girls' dottie dress... j crew

2. girls' ribbed city tee leggings... j crew

3. girls' floral hair band... j crew

4. girls' converse glitter sneakers... j crew

5. silky ruffle front top... gap

6. quilted patent leather ballet flats... gap

7.  denim skirt... gap

just a picture

i had a few spare moments tonight & really wanted to put together a few layouts.... it just sort of makes me feel refreshed sometimes.  plus i have all these pictures my sister took last weekend of the boys.  i had been thinking of a layout for Collin & was thinking of using several pictures.  but you know how sometimes you just have a picture {or several} that just capture you?  the look in his eye, the smile on his face, just made me want to use just this picture so it would be the focus & not get lost with others.  it also gave me a chance to add some journaling about where we're at right now.  sometimes good, sometimes bad, but no matter what i'll always love him {of course}.  i know at heart he's one of the sweetest kids, but lately it seems growing pains have slipped in & we're trying to navigate our way through it all.

about this page:

journaling reads: you at eleven... happy & then not. good & then bad. lovable & then, well, not so much. sweet & then sour. i guess we'll just go with the flow.  love you always. 7.10

supplies: patterned paper: stripy paper kit: pink trike design.  tape pieces: from hugs&kissesNo1 layered template & journaling spot: from memories layered template: katie pertiet designer digitals.

custom birthday invites

I've been making birthday invitations for my kids for, well, as long as they've been having birthdays!  This is something I've been wanting to do for a while, just been pondering the best way to go about it!  So here is what I've come up with & don't worry, I'll be adding more designs very soon!  So far I have these two boy & girl designs up in my pink trike digital shop

oh happy day custom invitation

so here is the cool part... you choose the design... you send me the pictures & info via email.  I then send you back proof{s} & when you approve the final, I'll send you the file to either take or upload to your fave photo printer!  yep. one time fee & you can print however many you want!  here's how I explain it:

Photo card design that is customized with your photos & information & emailed to you so you can choose where to have them printed any way you might like! Many things can be customized to your liking... fonts, colors, wording & the amount of pictures!

This is how it works:
*choose this design {boy or girl} & let me know if you'd like 4x6 or 5x7 size
*send information & photos to: pinktrikedesign@gmail.com
*I'll send you an email proof in 24 hrs or less. I'll work with you to do a reasonable amount of changes.
*once the proof is approved by you, I'll send the final product via email, where you can take it or upload it to any photo printer you wish {Target, Wal-Mart, Snapfish, scrapbookpictures, persnickety prints, etc.}.

{photos}
submit whatever photos you would like in a .jpg format. it would be best if the resolution is 300 dpi or higher for best quality. I can make your photos black & white or sepia at your request, no charge.

{any questions about how this works? just email me: pinktrikedesign@gmail.com}

I'll share when I add more to the shop... hope you all are having a great day :)

new! stripy digital papers

if you read my blog post on Friday... you'll remember I was inspired by a cute stripy cardigan sweater from the Boden catalog.  So here's my take on the wonderful striped goodness in digital form... 8 stripy papers... 4 tonal versions in shades of grey, charcoal, tan & brown & 4 coordinating versions with a pop of color!  Love how fun & versatile these turned out!  you can find this fun kit at my pink trike digital shop!
