new etsy prints

I've been adding some goodies over at my etsy shop as I complete them... here's a few I added over the weekend.

my girl print

I'll be adding more versions of this soon, but this one is customizable with name, hair/eye color & main color {dress, name, etc}.  This one is based off of some little bobbed haired girly I know {hehe}.  Notice the blonde hair, PiNk dress & of course LeGgiNgs!  Having fun doing these & would be happy to create one for you're girl too!

you are my sunshine

you make me smile

i hope you can go on over & check them out!

have a great monday everyone :)

saturday favorites

so yesterday we set out for a day with the kids & planned on making several different spots around the area.  first stop was to have lunch with my parents & let the boys use their new fishing poles they had gotten for their birthdays {oops no pics!}.  It was soooo hot, so that didn't last long, but the upside is that where my parents were camping is very near one of the best ice cream spots!  so ice cream for everyone :)

then we were off to the Burlington riverfront to check out the Nina & Pinta replica ships.  we just took some looks from the outside.. Evan & Lydie were in no mood for boat tours.

from there, we traveled to Ft. Madison for Balloons over the Mississippi.  again, so very hot! we were pretty worried about Lydie.. I have never seen her get so hot.  we had to wait for a long time for them to finally come in, but it was so worth it!

this one was my favorite & he came right over us!

this one was Lydie's favorite {pink of course}

they were all really beautiful!

it was a busy, hot, fun day for the M family!

hoot & letter prints

this morning before we went on a whirlwind day of taking the kids around to a few different fun things {in the crazy heat}... I added some things to my etsy store {yay!} finally.  just a few prints over there right now, but I've got lots going on I'm planning to add over the next week... hope you can come visit!

first... it's hoot.  cute, eh?  I can do her/him up in all kinds of colors & patterns!

... and also personalized letter/name prints!!! I've been wanting to do this for a while, well, because, you know I love letters!  these can also be done up in various colors & patterns & completely personalized with your chosen letter + name!  & it's not just for the kids... how about your family name?

I'll post more here when I get it put up & tomorrow I'll make sure to post some pics of our whirlwind day that included fishing, the Nina & Pinta & hot air balloons!  hope you're all having a wonderful weekend as well.

oh... & did you notice my new header look?  couldn't help but play around a little with some of the digital goodies in the pink trike shop {note paper is from the vintage polka.dot package & the banner is from the oh happy day extras}.

birthday mini book

I've been working on a little project here this morning... a mini book template :)  I hope to have it up in the shop this weekend, but here's what I put together for a sample.  You'll be able to have as many pages as you want, I did one with 6 pages with pictures I had from Lydia's 3rd birthday party.  The oh happy day collection went perfectly {maybe because I drew inspiration for the colors from her dress? heehee!}.  The template will be easy & quick... all you'll have to do is insert your pics & print... either in your file OR you could print out the pages & your photos separately & do it a little more traditional style! This one is a smallish 4x5.5" book... just perfect :)

my little lady loved the book & couldn't wait to look & touch!  She was sweet enough to help me with the pictures to show it off...

happy friday everyone:)
