cute stuff from lydia

so just thought I'd share some cute {& not so cute stuff} Lydia was doing over the last few days:

*lots of kisses after we got back from Chicago

*saying "hi", "mama", "dada" alot

*babbling cute stuff {don't ask me what}, then laughing at herself

*laying herself out on the floor crying & flailing when she can't explore the refrigerator, or hold her own popsicle, or go with daddy, etc etc {this girls got a temper}

*shaking hands {learned this at church}

*seeing the boys in the morning & getting so excited & wanting to play

*beaming smile {okay, under the binky} when I get her our of bed

*sitting & exploring her basket of books {not touching anything in her toy basket}

*wanting to eat everything in the cart when grocery shopping yesterday

*getting to have her own vanilla milkshake from DQ for the first time {wish I had my camera for this... Lydie, in her carseat with her milkshake & "chewing" each mouthful before saying "YUM"

It's so amazing to me how much she changes from week to week. Even after being gone for a few days, there is something different about her. Slow down little girl, there's plenty of time to grow up!

Hooray for me......20 lbs down!

Well, I can't really believe it, but I've lost 20 pounds! Went on www.weightwatchers.com & entered my weight this morning on & there it was. With all the awesome food I ate over the weekend I thought for sure I would have packed it on this week! Still haven't set a definite goal, just sort of going w/ the flow of life, but as of now I'm down 2 sizes & feeling good. Scary, but I can't remember when I was down to this size. Lydia's a great help... with my already reduced portions, she reduces anything on my plate a little more. Trying to keep up with her right now is, unfortunately my only exercise {hopefully by this winter my treadmill will make it's way to our basement}! My sister Carol & my babysitter & friend Kim were great inspiration for me, Carol had started a biggest loser competition at the local hospital where she works & Kim had started WW a year or so ago {she's lost over 40 lbs}, so I needed to get it into gear! My sister Kathy developed diabetes a few years back as well, so that is always in the back of my mind. So, I'll keep going & do what I can.....

Reminisce @ CHA

Thought I'd post some pictures of the Reminisce booth. For those of you not familiar with the scrapbooking industry, CHA is the Craft & Hobby Association. There are shows both in the summer & winter every year & are much anticipated by companies to reveal new product to the public & by stores & scrapbookers to see what's new & hot. We released 4 lines at this show.... Making the Grade, Enchanted Autumn, Scare Tactics, & Frosted. Oh & sorry for any glare, red eye, darkness, etc etc in my pics.

Dana, Elizabeth & I. These 2 girls work so hard to make my job easier.... I really appreciate you both! Had a great time getting to hang out & talk.

Reminisce_groupw

The Reminisce Crew {missing Denise}. We had a great time together. It's always fun to talk about new ideas & just hang out with each other & not talk about work! BTW.... thanks Matt & Andria for an awesome night out on Friday. Everyone I work with is so great & hanging out with them this weekend just reinforces my belief that I'm truly blessed to work for such a phenomenal company! REMINISCE ROCKS!

My Frosted line w/ some super cool projects & layouts by our design team. Love Love Love how this line turned out, especially after I saw it w/ the glitter. The name fits it perfectly!

My Enchanted Autumn line, again w/ some cool stuff from the design team. This was a new one for us, using our new Holoshimmer paper... turned out so cool.

Sorry, didn't realize I had the pics of the layouts in so big. You can click on each to see the entire layout! I tried to incorporate some of my Reminisce products on each... one of my favorite things is trying our products with all the incredible stuff that's out there.

Notice on the Christmas Dress layout I used the Snowglobe Winterbloom paper w/ some of the stickers from that line as well. I think it looks pretty cool w/ the other patterned paper.

On the Trike layout I didn't use any Reminisce paper, but used stickers & rubons from the Girly Girl line & letter stickers from Baby with Attitude.

Finally, on the Blue Eyed Girl layout, I used the new huge sticker from the Enchanted Autumn line that was just released at CHA this weekend. {The tree limbs & leaves}. Wow, is she cute, or what? (:

I'm digging using the 8 1/2 x 11 horizontal format as well. Not sure what possessed me to try this.

good stuff

Dan & I got back from Chicago last night, right before the kids bedtime. The boys were grouchy, so they went straight to bed, Lydia was tired too, but while I was rocking her, she kept chatting to me. So sweet. I missed them all so much {of course it was good to get away, too}.

I'm totally invigorated.... I've seen so many ideas, projects & eye candy in the last 2 days! My mind was in overdrive yesterday on the drive home. After we got the kids to bed I started immediately on some layouts. I'm pretty proud of what I accomplished. I haven't scrapbooked in months & I'm dying to start some more. Maybe when Lydia lays down for her morning nap.......
