wow! I can't believe it's the end of January already... time has just been flying by SO fast!  I've got 3 kits for you this week & like I said yesterday, there's gonna be lots of great things happening in February going on at DHD {make sure you check back soon for more info on that}.

sneak peek 1.26

I've got 3 kits coming up for release this week... some good go-to kits that I'll hope you love!  I'm keeping it small this week because I have lots of stuff planned for February {wink} I'll keep ya posted on that :)

this one pretty much sums up how I feel about my hubby {in short form, of course!} & I love this picture my sister caught of Dan & I holding hands watching Lydia playing because I feel like it's so "us".   We'll be married for 17 {yikes!} years coming up in July & I sorta had to chuckle reading Allison's bio when she sent it to me the other day talking about getting married at 18.  I always have gotten lots of strange looks when I tell people I was married at 19... but seriously, I wouldn't change a thing!  I wouldn't want to be spending my life with anyone else but Dan :)  Yes, there are lots of times the guy just drives me crazy {& vise versa I'm sure}, but it makes things interesting... & I still love him in the end!  That's what's important, right?  ok enough mushy stuff.  See you tomorrow here with the releases!

Pink Trike Creative team

I'm so proud to announce that I've hand-picked a few of my favorite scrappin' girls to create with my digital designs {& I'm so excited they've accepted my requests!}.  I literally have a dynamic duo on my hands with the fabulous Shelley Haganman & Allison Waken.  I have known Shelley for a long time & have always admired her exceptional creativity, photography & of course she's just a wonderful person & friend!  I'm so happy to know her!  As for Allison, I've enjoyed getting to know her just over the last few months since I've been at Design House Digital & she is such a sweetheart.  I think we instantly hit it off. She, too is an amazingly talented scrapbooker & photographer who is always wowing me with her fresh new takes on the scrapbook page.  And so... here they are:

Hi there! I am Allison Waken a 28 year old wife and mother of 2 boys and 2 dogs.  I've been more than happily married for 10 years (yes that makes me married at 18). My boys are 8 and 6 and are the reason I do what I do! I've been into photography since high school where I used film, but it really took off after I had my first son and knew it would be a permanent part of my life.

I have managed the photography of a furniture manufacturer for the last 7 years as well as have my own photography business. I have work published in national publications such as USA Today, Luxe, and Veranda.  I think I've learned how to juggle jobs while leaving LOTS of time for my boys and of course for scrapping!

I love Legos (really I build them with the boys all the time), music, being outside (when it's not cold), chocolate, and of course photography. I'd love to learn to sew - just got a machine so now it's just time ha ha! I scrap for my boys and the future generations, but I also scrap for me. I never want to forget this time in my life and it's such a great creative outlet! I also love to teach and help others get to where they want to be with their photography so they can do the same.

I think that's me in a nutshell - wife, mother, photographer, fun, funKY, and a little crafty :)

Hello everyone! My name is Shelley Haganman. I am part time RN and full time single mom and scrapper! I love photography, traveling, scrapping, and project making. overheard

with a chatty 3.5 year old girl in the house, we often overhear lots of interesting things.  These are just a few from this weekend:

"i love you daddy"

"give me four" {to my sister's dog}

"for my birthday party I want to have a slip n slide & a bouncy house" {March birthday... in Iowa}

"wanna play with me now?"

"is it warm out today, mommy?"

"i love you mommy"

"those are my boys" {talking about her brothers}

"mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy...."

"I want to do everything!"

"I want to be an artist when I grow up"

"When daddy grows up he says he just wants to be Lydia's daddy"

"Now boyyyssss..." {in appropriate mommy-like tone}

"Ok mommy, you just have to be nice to my boys"

Love the mind of a 3 {almost 4} year old... never a dull moment for sure :)

she's a dreamer...

Most anyone who knows my little girl knows that she's got quite the imagination, loves to talk & basically just knows what she wants {& how to get it, especially with her daddy}.  One of the things I'm enjoying right now is her telling me {pretty much daily} what she wants to do or be when she grows up.  She's told me several things, but the ones on this layout are the most frequently repeated {doctor, artist, mommy, astronaut, teacher}, although the one that she tells me most often is that she's just going to do EVERYTHING when she grows up.  LOL gotta love a girl like that, right?  I have to say, I'm quite the dreamer too & think it's a great quality to have...
